REVUELE Pink Clay Shower Gel Review

Today, I will be reviewing a Pink Clay shower gel by European company Revuele, which was manufactured in Bulgaria.

I purchased it for 4€ as I like clay masks and products that contain natural ingredients. I haven’t seen a clay shower gel before and it seemed to be an interesting product.

It comes in a nice 300ml white bottle, without outer paper packaging.

According to the description, the shower gel nourishes, tones up and deeply cleanses.

Immediately after opening, I could smell the product’s strong clay-like scent. While the fragrance was nice, it wasn’t natural but rather artificially created.

What surprised me was that the consistency and appearance of the gel didn’t really look like clay and I wouldn’t be able to tell that this was a “clay gel”, without knowing the name and description of the product.

It looks just like any other shower gel, that smells like clay, which disappointed me.

The list of ingredients actually contains “kaolin” (therefore clay), somewhere in the middle of the list, however it represents a very small amount.

Here you can view the list of ingredients:

Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Acrylates Crosspolymer, Cocamide DEA, Coco – Glucoside, PEG-4 Distearyl Ether, Distearyl Ether, Dicaprylyl Ether, Sodium Chloride, Kaolin, Montmorillonite, Illite, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Phenoxyethanol, Parfum, Triethanolamine, Butylphenyl Methylpropional.

It doesn’t look like the pink colored clay displayed on the outer part of the bottle. The gel can be seen below, after being dropped on my skin.

And here is a picture of the gel after spreading it on dry skin and creating a foam:

My conclusion is that the product isn’t bad. I would say that its just like any average shower gel, with a creamy consistency.

If you were looking for a clay shower/ bath, then this product doesn’t look like a pink clay at all. The clay-like smell is nice, though.
