Missha Super Aqua Ultra Hyalron Peeling Gel

I recently tried the Missha Super Aqua Ultra Hyalron Gel, and while I enjoyed using it, I didn’t find it particularly effective in terms of delivering visible skincare results. That being said, it does provide a refreshing sensation, making it a pleasant addition to a skincare routine if you’re looking for a gentle, hydrating cleanse rather than a deep exfoliation.
Texture & Peeling Effect
The gel has a matte, grainy texture, which is interesting because it peels off in small rubbings as you massage it onto the skin. While this type of physical exfoliation might seem promising, I found it to be too mild to actually remove dead skin cells or impurities in a noticeable way. It’s more of a soft, polishing effect rather than an effective peeling treatment.

Scent & Application
One of the aspects I particularly enjoyed about this product is the scent. It has a medically clean aroma with a subtle herbal undertone reminiscent of pine, which makes it feel refreshing and almost spa-like. The gel spreads easily and gives the skin a fresh, cool feeling, which can be pleasant, especially if you enjoy a light, soothing skincare experience.
Ingredients & Hydration
The key ingredient in this formula is hyaluronic acid, which is known for its deep hydration properties. However, since this product is meant to be rinsed off, I didn’t notice any long-term moisture retention benefits. Other ingredients include mild exfoliants and soothing agents, but they seem to work more as skin conditioners rather than active exfoliators.

Final Thoughts
Overall, I liked using the Missha Super Aqua Ultra Hyalron Gel, primarily for its refreshing feel and pleasant scent. However, I wouldn’t rely on it as an effective peeling product, as it seems too gentle to make a real difference in exfoliation or skin clarity. If you’re looking for a light, hydrating cleanser with a unique texture, this might be a nice addition to your routine—but if you need serious exfoliation, you may want to consider a stronger chemical or physical exfoliant.
