MEDI-PEEL – Mezzo Filla Eye Anti-Aging Serum 30ml

This immediately caught my attention because of its elegant presentation. The packaging feels premium and well-designed, giving the impression of a high-end skincare product. The pump dispenser is hygienic and easy to use, allowing you to dispense just the right amount of product without any mess. From a first impression alone, it certainly looks like an eye serum that belongs in a luxury skincare routine.

The serum itself is also visually beautiful. It has a gorgeous pearl-white colour with a subtle shimmering, almost glittery finish that makes it look very luxurious. The texture appears rich and sophisticated, and the product is genuinely appealing when first dispensed. It feels as though it should melt effortlessly into the skin and leave the delicate eye area hydrated and radiant.

Unfortunately, my experience changed completely once I started applying it. Instead of absorbing into the skin like a typical eye serum, the product simply sat on the surface. Even after gently patting it in and allowing several minutes for it to absorb, it remained sticky and tacky. Rather than leaving the eye area feeling moisturised and smooth, it created an uncomfortable film that never seemed to disappear.

The best way I can describe the texture after application is almost like a thin layer of glue. It stayed on top of my skin instead of penetrating it, making the eye area feel coated rather than nourished. Because it never fully absorbed, I found it difficult to apply concealer or other skincare products afterwards, as everything tended to sit on top of the sticky layer.

Another issue I experienced was discomfort around the eyes. As the product dried, the sticky residue became increasingly noticeable and made the skin feel slightly tight and itchy. Since the eye area is naturally delicate, this sensation quickly became distracting and unpleasant. Instead of providing a soothing anti-ageing treatment, it made me want to wash the product off.

I continued using the serum for several applications in the hope that my skin would adjust or that I was simply using too much product. However, even when applying only a tiny amount, I experienced the same results. The beautiful appearance of the serum simply did not translate into a pleasant user experience.

Overall, MEDI-PEEL Mezzo Filla Eye Anti-Aging Serum has attractive, premium packaging and one of the prettiest serum textures I have seen, with its elegant pearl-white shimmer. Unfortunately, the formula itself did not work for me. The persistent stickiness, poor absorption and glue-like residue around the eyes made it uncomfortable to wear, and the resulting itchy sensation meant I could not continue using it. While the product certainly looks luxurious, I was ultimately disappointed by its performance.
