SKINFOOD Royal Honey Propolis Enrich Cream Mist

SKINFOOD Royal Honey Propolis Enrich Cream Mist was one of the most surprising skincare products I have tried, but unfortunately not for the reasons I had hoped. What immediately stood out to me was the fragrance. The scent is absolutely beautiful and genuinely one of the most relaxing wellness-inspired fragrances I have encountered in a skincare product. It has a warm, comforting honey-like aroma with subtle herbal and spa-like notes that make it feel luxurious and calming. Every time I sprayed it, I found myself wishing it were sold as a dedicated body mist, pillow spray or aromatherapy product because the fragrance is truly the highlight of the entire experience.

As a skincare product, however, the mist was far less successful for me. Despite being marketed as a cream mist that combines hydration and nourishment, I found the formula surprisingly heavy and sticky. Instead of absorbing into the skin and leaving behind a comfortable moisturized finish, it created a noticeable film that sat on the surface for an extended period. My skin felt tacky and slightly greasy, almost as though I had applied a lightweight lotion that never fully dried down.

The texture was particularly problematic when used during the daytime. The stickiness remained long after application and made my skin feel less fresh rather than more hydrated. I also found that it did not layer well with other skincare products because of the persistent residue it left behind. Rather than providing a refreshing boost of moisture, it often felt like I was adding another layer of product that my skin simply did not want to absorb.

Unfortunately, the biggest issue for me was that the mist appeared to contribute to breakouts. After several days of use, I started noticing an increase in clogged pores and small blemishes, particularly in areas where I sprayed the product most heavily. While individual reactions will vary depending on skin type, my skin clearly did not respond well to the rich, emollient formula. Given that propolis and honey-based products are often marketed as soothing and skin-supportive, this was particularly disappointing.

The concept behind the product is excellent. A nourishing propolis cream mist that delivers hydration while providing a luxurious sensory experience sounds wonderful in theory. Unfortunately, the execution did not work for my skin. The beautiful scent kept tempting me to continue using it, but the persistent stickiness, poor absorption and tendency to trigger breakouts ultimately outweighed the benefits.

Overall, SKINFOOD Royal Honey Propolis Enrich Cream Mist has one of the most enjoyable and relaxing fragrances I have ever experienced in a skincare product, and I genuinely think the scent alone would make an incredible face mist, body mist or wellness spray. However, as a skincare treatment, I found it too sticky, too heavy and not sufficiently absorbent, and it ultimately caused breakouts that made me discontinue use. For those with very dry skin it may perform better, but for my skin type it was unfortunately a disappointing purchase despite its wonderful fragrance.
